I optimistically find that my gaming habit is becoming more refined and mature whilst keeping itself ever exciting as I get older, especially with all of these retro styled indies that the ps3 and ps4 have been getting. I guess I may be an exception but part of me doubts that I am.

Idk man, it feels like we have been seeing a shift in xboxs vision since mattrick left. It wouldnt surprise me a bit if the suits left the division decisions to phil for the past few months and once they saw how the public perception has shifted they made it official.
I took about 50 screens playing last night. I love this game.
Ill be buying this game because I like the concept of taking the lotr franchise out of the picture and focusing on middle earth lore. Hopefully this concept stretches to future star wars games.

It really is. You wont find me complimenting decisions at ms often, but I would definitely be excited for e3 and the future of xbox games if I was a fanbone. Ill bet this recent xbox turn around is thanks to phil.

If you appreciate your consoles enough to hoard them then why wouldnt you want ps3 supported as long as possible? It will be a classic machine one day and as you probably know every console is remembered by its exclusives. Every single console. The stronger the ps3s legacy the better, and this is coming from a collector.
I respectfully disagree! Sony has the studios to nuture both consoles. We already got a ps4 kz, infamous, and probably uc within the first year so it looks to me like there is plenty of room for some ps3 love. People like to say that sony doesnt have many games but they forget that they really pump out games more than both ms studios and nintendo. Remember, ps3 got beyond and gt6 and we still got infamous & kz for ps4 in the past year.
Just because you may have sold your ps3 doesnt mean everyone did. The playstation3 fanbase will be nurtured for years. It takes more time and money than ever to develop for next gen so the ps3 with its massive fanbase will be getting their share and will not be ignored. Sony supports their consoles for a long time after the next gen starts and we like it.
Well said, I feel basically the same way. I prefer deep, slow atmospheric games now but I have an uncle that plays bad company 2 constantly after I showed him 1942. I mean 1000 hours plus. He loves the shit and it almost ruined his marriage.
